Invited Session on Intelligent and Secure Agent for Digital Content Management

Purpose
Web based Digital Content services have been activated due to the increase in network speed. Among various web base services throughout web, multimedia digital content, such as MP3, generally has the characteristics of a large amount of data compared to other digital content. Thus, this increase results in increases in the time loads. And in high quality multimedia content, illegal facsimile is possible without damaging quality. Also distribution of content duplicated illegally in the Internet is causing great economic loss to the digital contents providers. Almost all Digital Content services based on web have management and security problems due to their characteristics in web and digital content itself. Due to these problems, studies on security techniques have been increasingly stressed. So, recent studies on agent techniques for digital content management have been focused on the guarantee of safety and intelligent management.
The session “Intelligent and Secure Agent for Digital Content Management” focuses on the intelligent and secure agent techniques and applications in the domain of the digital content based on the web and next generation networks. This session provides a forum for interested researchers to exchange new ideas, and report on progress of current developments and applications of secure and intelligent agent techniques for the digital content services.
